Bridge at Parasalai Kollencode Road:

Reconstruction of the bridge at Km 7/6 of Parasalai - Kollencode road.

This Bridge connects villages in Tirunelveli District. Due to the flooding of back waters, the existing bridge submerges during the monsoon season resulting in damage. The Highways & Ports Department undertook reconstructing this bridge through the CRIDP 200-2010 Scheme. Through a pile foundation, the bridge is being renovated, making its access easy for villagers. The Project is scheduled to be completed by December 2011.
